The Tissue DNA Extraction Kit is designed for rapid and efficient purification of genomic DNA from up to 5 x 106 cultured animal cells and various organs such as kidney, heart, lungs, brain, muscles, liver, spleen
Description:
The GF-1 Tissue DNA Extraction Kit is designed for rapid and efficient purification of genomic DNA from various tissue samples such as kidney, heart, lungs, brain, muscles, liver, spleen, etc. The purification is based on the usage of denaturing agents to provide lysis of tissue cells, denaturation of proteins and subsequently release of genomic DNA. Special buffers provided in the kit are optimized to enhance the binding of DNA onto a specially-treated glass filter membrane for efficient recovery of highly pure genomic DNA.
Features Tissue DNA Isolation kit:
– Yields up to 20µg of DNA
– Mini-column spin technology
– No organic-based extraction required
– Highly pure genomic DNA ready to use for routine molecular biology applications such as restriction enzyme digestion, PCR, – Southern blotting, DNA fingerprinting, etc.
Application:
For high quality tissue genomic DNA isolation.
Kit Components:
– GF-1 columns
– Collection tubes
– Buffer CT
– Buffer IP (concentrate)*
– Wash Buffer (concentrate)*
– Buffer EB
– Buffer GS*
– Proteinase K*
– Handbook
* Please refer to Reconstitution of Solutions and Storage and Stability before using this kit.
