For instance, the cell proliferation will be affected by up to 50 % due to nutrient competition and toxic metabolic products.
To eliminate such contaminations, reagents like Mynox® are suitable. Mynox® acts in a biophysical way and kills mycoplasma in a direct way. For a rapid and efficient detection of mycoplasma PCR tests (Venor®) can be used.
